     Is  a full day zanzibar boat trip(Local Dhow),a wonderful experience of Boating in Zanzibar.(local Dhow) normally start on 09:00am up to 05:00pm.Departing from beautiful beach of Fumba or Kikungwi village on Southwest coast of Zanzibar.
     The Cristal clear waters and beautiful Snorkeling will be a highlight of this trip,Fumba waters are between Zanzibar and Mainland ,lying on the Zanzibar channel makes this area always calm.then we walk on this "White Sandbank" on your feet fine white sand ,surrounded by the blue water,and covered by a blue sky,we just have 1hour here for sand bank Camping with lovely local Tents while we served with Zanzibar fresh Fruits,seriously,what more can you ask for?

•  STONE TOWN TOUR:

      Stone Town-Zanzibar - Stone Town also known as Mji Mkongwe (Swahili for "old town") is the old part of Zanzibar City, the main city of Zanzibar, in Tanzania, as opposed to Ng'ambo (Swahili for 'the other side'). It is located on the western coast of Unguja, the main island of the Zanzibar Archipelago. Former capital of the Zanzibar Sultanate, and flourishing centre of the spice trade as well as the slave trade in the 19th century, it retained its importance as the main city of Zanzibar during the period of the British protectorate. When Tanganyika and Zanzibar joined each other to form the United Republic of Tanzania, Zanzibar kept a semi-autonomous status, with Stone Town as its local government seat

      This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People's Palace), Dr Livingstone's House and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar.       This is a half day trip, normally start on 09:30am up to 01:30pm.In reality,the history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without visiting Spice Farm around zanzibar to get enough Knowledge how we plant,we harvest and we use several spices like Cloves, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Pepper.Vannila,Cardamon and many other spices which brought the Sultans of Oman and the beginnings of the infamous slave trade.
       They can be seen in the plantations just outside Zanzibar town, and a good tour includes opportunities to dazzle the senses with fresh spices. A detailed description is given about a variety of spices, and their uses in cooking and cosmetics and other products that local people made. Visitors will be fascinated by the sheer number of spices produced and their incredible value for many ailments.

SPICES TOUR

• JOZANI FOREST&RED COLOBUS MONKEY:

The Jozani Natural Forest Reserve is located in the central east region of Zanzibar island and is home to the rare Red Colobus Monkey (pictured opposite), which is endemic to Zanzibar. These monkeys are full of character, and roam freely.

Red Colobus monkeys are the most famous and lively inhabitants of the forest. A sub-species found only on this island, they can be seen calmly lazing around or eating and playing in the stunning scenery. Sunnis (small antelope) and camouflaged chameleon also inhabit the forest.

 They can also be seen at very close quarters just outside the reserve's perimeter and are incredibly photogenic. Jozani is home to other species including Syke's monkey's, small buck and bushpigs. The elusive Zanzibar leopard (last sited several years ago) is said to feed here at night - perhaps this is why the reserve is only open during the day?! Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative.
Mangrove Boardwalk
is situated approximately 1 km south of the visitor center. This boardwalk takes you through a dense, protected mangrove forest, the thin straight trunks of the young mangrove trees are often cut by locals and used as building materials.however mangrove are important for several reasons including their ability to filter nutrients and their role as to host endangered species.WE ARE RECOMMEND TO COMBINE WITH:

JOZANI FOREST(COLOBUS MONKEYS)

 

• DOLPHIN TOUR&KIZIMKAZI MOSQUE:

    This is like sport in the water and in early morning is the best time to see them,you stay in boat( speed boat) and once you see then (a group of Dolphin) you just go in the water and to swim with them,they are very friendly,very funny to swim with people.Normally and the best time to swim with them is around 06:00am because is their time to look for foods.
      Situated on the southern point of the island, Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins which can be a very rewarding experience. If you wish  also you may visit the site of a 12th century mosque, the earliest evidence of Islam in East Africa, and is thus worth a visit for both natural and cultural reasons.

      It about 4 hours in the motor boat (Speed boat) we make Deep Sea Fishing at KIZIMKAZI.Zanzibar's southern tip of Kizimkazi is situated in close proximity to some of Africa's best deep sea fishing ground for the big yellow fin Tuna,one of the strongest fish around.Big Blue Marlin and number of striped and Black  Marlin are also found,as well as sailfish through motor boat.

BIG GAME FISHING(DEEP SEA FISHING)

• PRISON ISLAND TOUR: 

      A full day trip and  half hour by Boat from Stone Town, a tour that take you to see these Reptiles and Ruins of the prison is an ideal get away from the busting stone town .You will enjoy beautiful snorkeling here.
      Used in the old days a Slave Merchant as a stop over before taking Slaves in to Stone Town for sell some times in the 1850`s.In the late 19century the Sultan decided to build a Jail House on the Island,the prison was never used and later on the Island served for Quarantine.

    Is a full day Zanzibar dhow trip,start on zanzibar town by taking Zanzibar Dhow.It just look like a Blue Safari but not, this is a Sandbank picnic ( the best) and this full day excursion includes something for every one start your day by visiting historical prison Island.There,tour a prison once used as a quarantine \,befriend and Aldabra Tortoise and enjoy your panorama of the stone town viewed from Island.

SAND BANK PICNIC (NAKUPENDA FULL DAY TRIP)

   Our tour will start to the north at Mangapwan village to Slave Caves,Mangapwani Slave Caves built out of coral lime stone,these caves were used to store Slaves until the monsoon began and the dhow come to take them away from their home land .After Slavery was abolished, the Caves was used for years to hide and smuggle Slaves an illicit trade that continued for many years.
    But North Coast is the Dhow building capital of Zanzibar,you will drive to Nungwi will take you past the fish market,where you can see fresh cought sea food being auctioned,there is a stop at the ruins of an old Portuguese settlement where your guide will explain the history of the ruins and the portuguese conquest of the Zanzibar,dating back to 1497.
    A stop at the blacksmith is fascinating tools are still made in the traditional way for constructing Dhows, At the construction site,Dhow are built in the same way they have for centuries,skilled craft men bending wood to create the dhows.Visitors my be invited to try their hand at this unique craft.
   A visit to Nungwi Turtle sanctuary and aquarium follows,where ailing turtles are nursed back to the health and released in to the ocean.A guided tour of Nungwi  village,where Mamas wrapped in Kangas,cook over firewood and smiling kids play walk down to the beach where you can enjoy an optional Lunch at one of Nungwi`s popular restaurants and enjoy some free time sunbathing,swimming.

• SEAWEED FARMING TOUR

       Seaweed farm are generally located in shallow,calm and constantly waters,but only where the bottom is sandy.The weed was introduced in Zanzibar from the Philippines in 1988.
      Nicolas Zanzibar Tours has prepared an unforgettable half day tour at Paje village on Seaweed farming.Every morning,with the first low tide of the day women especially 40years go to work at the sea for seaweed farming.
    Our half day trip will start to home`s  village(PAJE) by going straight ahead to the ocean with our professional Guide with Seaweed farmers from paje,they will teach in deep how they plant seaweed,they harvest it and how it grows up to be ready to be used and how it is very important to them.Seaweed farming generally farmed by ropes are are tightened,linking the sticks opposite and forming a kind of suspended structure,which has to remain under water even at very high tide,seaweed grows quickly and can be harvested after only 3weeks and then carried to the village,where it is left to dry out.
Almost every where,spread on large mats,on tarmac or professional,hanged on long wood structure which are  lined behind the beach,
      At Paje village more than 25 people are employed at Seaweed center especially 40years so as to get economic income.Visitors on a tour to the Seaweed center get a rare opportunity to the experience the daily life of a seaweed farming women from Paje village,the facilities and capacity building activities that the center provides.
      Visitors are invited to go out to the beach farms to plants,tender or harvest seaweed for a hand,one experience on ocean agriculture which is an important economic activity for many women living Zanzibar`s East and Southern coast coast .
